Abstract/Description: Low level analyte determination within complex matrices forms the backbone of work within the majority of environmental testing laboratories. Regulation is now demanding a change to the way the majority of laboratories have worked in the past. Not only are the levels of determination being lowered, but the number of analytes required to be measured at such concentrations is increasing. At the same time, analytical certainty, validation, external scrutiny and cost of analysis issues are constantly being reviewed.
